This phobia is exactly the opposite of the fear of ice or frost!
It is only natural for all humans to be afraid of fire. However, patients suffering from the fear of fire shows panic signs even at the sight of fire or intense red heat.

Symptoms of Pyrophobia
Your fear of fire can result in the following symptoms:
breathlessness, dizziness, excessive sweating, nausea, dry mouth, feeling sick, shaking,
heart palpitations, inability to speak or think clearly, a fear of dying, becoming mad or losing
control or a full blown anxiety attack.
Treatments
There are three different types of treatment: (1)Desensitization, (2)Flodding, and (3)Implosion.
Desensitization: A phobic's ability to cope with the fear is built up by graual exposure to more & more of what scares the individual. Therpy is a great for this treatment.
Flodding: Exposing the phobic to their fears.
Implosion: encouraging phobic's to live through their worst fears, but only in their imagination. Hypnoses is great for this treatment
